DELF is a diploma released by the Ministère de l'Education Nationale Française which provides evidence of the candidate’s knowledge of French as a foreign language for the levels of A1, A2, B1 and B2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera.
The language certification Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), which has existed since 1988, provides evidence of the level of competence in Spanish as a foreign language.
The Istituto Cervantes confers this diploma on behalf of the Spanish Minister of Education, Culture and Sport. The Università di Salamanca elaborates and tests the content of the exams.
The examinations are organized periodically in the exam centres chosen by the Istituto Cervantes.

The exams of the Goethe-Institut are available to all candidates and may be taken independently of the possession of German citizenship. The examinations have been designed to certify the candidate’s level of German as a foreign language or as a second language.
For each examination, the Goethe-Institut recommends a minimum age for participation.

At Best English it is possible to follow preparatory courses for the CILS examinations of the Università per Stranieri di Siena, the CELI examinations of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, the PLIDA examinations of the Società Dante Alighieri and the «Firenze» examinations of the AIL.
The latter are official examinations which demonstrate the degree of competence in Italian as a foreign language. They are available to all non native speakers of Italian who wish to have their knowledge of the Italian language certified for university or work.
They include six levels, ranging from A1 to C2, as specified in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the European Council.
